This is a Zipp 2001 triathlon tt tri road bike with FULLY UPDATED COMPONENTS. I bought it about a year ago after a lot of searching and built it from the ground up with new updated components. If youre familiar with these bikes you know that there were only about 800 made and they were banned from uci competition for "unfair speed advantage" as they put it. In recent wind tunnel tests the Zipp 2001 is still the most aero frame made even ten years later! This bike is very sought after and is CRAZY fast. The bike has a large frame and small beam. I had a waterjet custom made seat mount made to lower the seat (im 5'9") so I have both mounts. ZIPP 2001 frame 700c Specialized Toupe Team saddle Dura Ace components throughout Ventus 3t tt bars and aero levers (limited edition $1500 bars) Custom red/black fade paint job done by Cycle Art in San Francisco Cane Creek threadless stem brand new Easton EC90 Aero forks brand new Rear Zipp Aero brakes speedplay pedals Brand new Shimano Black 700c wheels with red nipples and vittoria tires (one ride on them, brand new) new Shimano skewers This whole bike is practically brand new right down to the grip tape. I injured my neck so I cant take advantage of this great bike and the year I have into the build. I know im leaving things out but if you know about these bikes you know what youre looking at.
